Mango Dragon International is an audiovisual label based in Geneva, dedicated to experimental forms of music and image-making.

The label explores the creation of textures, atmospheres and unique worlds, bringing sound and visual practices together through different forms of artistic expression.

Mango Dragon’s sonic universe is shaped by underground electronic music, with a particular affinity for productions emerging from the British scenes of the 1990s and 2000s, as well as experimental and avant-garde movements within electronic music. From deep basslines to fragmented rhythms, hazy melodies and abrasive saturation, the music can draw as much from movement as from repetition, noise, silence or the gradual transformation of a sonic material. Experimentation, accidents and sounds that do not necessarily seek to fit into a predefined form are given an important place.

The same freedom extends to the visual side of the label. VJing, experimental video, collage, 3D design, photography, painting and animation can become different ways of exploring and transforming the image, or come together to form a coherent whole, like atoms. An image can accompany a track or an album, exist independently, or become the starting point for an audiovisual creation. The only limit is the frame of the screen.

Mango Dragon International seeks to bring together practices and people that can intersect, respond to one another, or simply coexist, without imposing a single aesthetic.
